Ethernet Router
If you have a Wireless Router and ethernet cables, do you need wi-fi for the internet connection?
Basically, I have a wireless router for video games (PS3) and I have the ethernet cables. I would like to know, if I don’t have a wifi connection in my home does that hurt my connection? Thanks.
The wireless router IS the wifi connection, as long as it’s connected to the Internet via an Internet Service Provider. There is no such thing as a “wifi connection” without one.
